Newspapers' Home & Garden Expo
The first annual Colorado Community Newspapers’ Home & Garden Expo was held April 9th, 2006 from 10am-6pm, at the Douglas County Events Center in Castle Rock, Colorado. At the Home & Garden Expo, homeowners could touch, feel and smell innovative products for home improvement, from 100% organic fertilizers to green up your landscaping to closet organization systems to help with your spring cleaning. The show was free and parking was free too, making it a nice outing for the whole family!
Colorado Community Newsgroup, consist of several local community newspapers including: Highlands Ranch Herald, Parker Chronicle, Castle Rock News-Press, Littleton Independent, The Voice, Centennial Citizen, Englewood Herald, Elbert County News, Ute Pass Courier/The Gold Rush, Courier Extra, Tri-Lakes Tribune and the Gleneagle/Black Forest Tribune. Over 92,000 distribution of a special insert for the Home & Garden expo were distributed, helping drive audiences from Highlands Ranch, Aurora, Castle Rock, Littleton, Monument, Denver and the surrounding areas.
BizziBid’s advertisement above was part of this distribution to thousands of homeowners. 
Marijane Thomas, owner of Castle Rock Gift and Garden helped organize the show with her vast experience in Home Show planning. Sally Avery, pictured right, helped find great local contractors to exhibit their home improvement products and services.
The Colorado Community Newsgroup Home & Garden Expo was truly a family show, which especially catered to Homeowners with children. The home show included a children’s scavenger hunt, an area for planting flowers, Science Matters experiments and a jumping castle to keep children entertained while their parents had the chance to speak with local contractors about their home improvement needs. There were flooring contractors, window contractors,landscaping contractors, roofing contractors and much more. There was even a Harley Davidson exhibit for those looking for a little recreation this spring. 
BizziBid participated to help homeowners once they got home to make the best decision possible when choosing home improvement contractors. Although homeowners met many contractors at the home show, once they get home the decision of who to use for their needs still must be made.
